I please to aim! ..... wait...What an intelligent post...
That is a perfect assessment!so my 2v has more street potential than a 4v? And 4v will be a better bet if you want something like a race track car? thats interesting. theres a lot of good info flying in this argument, please keep arguing

NO! That is not what I said. The 4v can make more HP but will not be as drive able. Some of us live in large city's and yes anything can be driven on the street. I drove my SBC with roller cam, and 5.86:1 rear on the street back in the '70s.

What is the most power anyone has seen out of a 5 liter (or very close) N/A two valve? I am very curious as I haven't a clue. The most I have seen out of a bored over Teksid block with 03/04 Cobra heads N/A and 5 liter size was 471 hp, I would bet there is a higher one out there but that was a Sean Highland built one.
If you are building an all out race engine the 4 v setup will be better. But if you are building a daily driver performance engine you are better off going the 2v routine.
Bill your head port charges the same to do all that extra work that 4v's require? Double the amount of valve seats, valve bowls and a divider wall.
322CI.....530+RW All Motor -Base Line-
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
322CI (BB/STR), FR500 Intake, 03-up Heads, Cams, full exhaust base line tune did not even messed around with the timing tables @ 7500RPMs. Motor wanted (and still wants lots of fuel), added 2% fuel...gained 28RW, added 1%and she continued to gain.....we stopped the dyno since we were running out of fuel (on the tank and since we run 50/50 93-MS109) and we had to drive home about 30 minutes out...we did not want to risk it lol! This was with mild timing curve.
We belive she will make ~550-560RW when we finalize the tune and take her to 8000+RPMs, play with the plenum volume and 3" cat-back.
Power was on the way up very agressively by 7500RPMs, and we belive she will peak at ~8000RPMs.
Huge Kudos to John T @ Modular Performance for building another beast, as always his advice and builds deliver HUGE power and Don @ LaSota Racing who provided me with a killer base line tune!

400hp in this current age is no problems for a 2v.
*Cough* The current fastest N/A 2V that broke KenB's N/A 1/4 mark made 434 RWHP.*/Cough* Granted it was a 5.0L Big-Bore but non the less it easily made 400 RWHP.

Ok, at 434 rwhp and knowing that 471 exists for the 4V then you see the 4V makes more power. Being the block is the same then the difference must be the heads. So.............. 4V>2V*Cough* The current fastest N/A 2V that broke KenB's N/A 1/4 mark made 434 RWHP.*/Cough* Granted it was a 5.0L Big-Bore but non the less it easily made 400 RWHP.
