245-45-17 tires on 17x9 wheel

    getting new wheels 17x9 fr500s and want to use the old tires off the stock wheels(245-45-17) should i have a problem???

    The rim will stick out a tiny bit and you'll have zero rim protection. Other than that it will fit fine.

    Itl fit but look funny. I have 265s on my 18x9 FR500s and they look too skinny on the wheels.

    i have 245 coopers on my 17X9's they fit almost perfect, i think cooper runs a little big :shrug:

    Correct, but I hate how the 275/40's look on the front of my SN95. They look like they stick out in the front more than the rear with a 315/35 on a 17X10.5 wheel. I think a 245/45 will fit just fine & look good too.....

    not all,the limited edition mustangs came with a special 17x9 rim as part of the package with 245/45/17 tires. btw they looked great,did not look too small at all
