Finally decided to upgrade the alternator on the wifes 93LX. The old unit decided to start bruning up wires near the old spade connectors. I figured that repairing an already flawed design was a waste of time. I ordered a 95amp 3G unit from PA Performance along with the small wire kit. Other than strip'n a couple of wires it was a direct plug n play operations. It took me about an hour and 10 min and now its all done.
Hats off to the guys at PA Perfromance who noticed that I ordered the wrong 3g unit at first but they corrected it prior to shipping and saved me a bunch of grief.
I planed to post some step by step pics if anyone cares to see them.. Just let me know.
