i recently purchased a 1990 mark vii, and also purchased a 72 MM MAF, 65 MM T- BODY, and 1.72 RRs in which i was planning to install.
so far i purchased the front air spring assembly from arnot since mines my stock ones are shot.
and im planning on buying some good headers and possibly change the heads, and intake

HEADs in MIND - GT 40 heads
INTAKE- EXplorer
headers - BBK Shorty

i wanted to know if the roller rockers would fit on the stock motor, would i have any clearance issues? ... b.c im dying to put them on the ride, and also would they fit if i used the GT40 heads?

i know this is a stang site, but the mark n stang r like cousins LOL

ANY ADVISE?

They will fit and work nicely....but two things

#1 you will need to upgrade the valve springs on the gt40 heads

#2 they may not fit under the stock valve covers. You might need to modify them (remove baffles, slight clearance, etc) or get aftermarket covers.

Use pedestal mount rockers. Grab the explorer valve covers. They are the same cast as the cobra valve covers and will clear roller rockers with no mods. They also havve metal gaskets you can use over and over again so don't lose those when you pull them.
