351 swap

I recently purchased a set of 1 3/4 mac long tube headers for a 302 slightly used for an exceptional price, but my rebuild plans took a big turn when I got another exceptional deal on a 408 stroker kit. My question is has anyone tried to use 302 headers on a 351 in an 88 mustang coupe with a t5 and a complete tubular front suspension (cross member, control arms, coil overs)/

I doubt that longtubes would fit, but my 302 shorties worked fine.

I don't think there going to fix. I've used 351 headers on 302 but I could never get 302 headers to fit 351.

should have put into what... its a '91 LX Coupe. thanks a lot for any info. i did a search im sure there is a great thread already but I just didn't find it.
