He only has to pay the tax once. Like income tax on the perceived value of it. Basically, the government is FORCING him to sell the ball, so that they can get the taxes from the sale. That SUCKS!!!!!

If our government isn't careful, people are going to start to realize that we are overdue for another "Boston Tea Party".
