Right, it does look super clean. If you want a driver, it's worth spending a few hours and putting a 5 speed in it if that is really what you want though. Save for parts.
All 88 cars were MAF in Cal. All Saleens were built in Cal. in 88 so that is why it's a MAF car. They were ordered through a Ford dealer for Saleen for conversion.
Actually, it is *most* not ALL '88 Saleens. I almost bought a red hatch a number of years ago that was all OE, and was not a MAF car.
FYI - Buyer Beware. Seller claims the car is original, but the front end looks like it's been repainted. You can actually see the overspray on the rubber hood stops in the engine bay photo's. I sent the seller an email two weeks ago (this is the second go around on ebay for this car) inquiring about how much of the car had been repainted and I never received a response.
