94 cutting out

hi i have a 1994 mustang gt that is having some problems. when driving the car it cuts out and jolts you at all rpm's and when i push the clutch in it revs up to 2500 rpm and wont go down until i tap the gas and even then it wont go to normal idle for a few seconds. on top of that when you first start the car it idles fine but then it starts to idle kind of like it has a cam but then it idles so low it almost dies but then picks itself back up. i have replaced the i/a/c and cleaned the maf and new 02 sensors. any help at all will really help. thanks

have you reset your idle? And IAC screw?

no i wasnt aware that i had to. what steps are there in doin this

As Yobi1Kanobi said, your problem sounds like a poorly-set idle and the car's computer can't quite handle it. Do a search on the 94-95 forums for "reset idle". You'll find the procedure pretty fast. Once you've reset your idle, let us know if it helped.

Look for a big ol' vacuum leak.
