a little bit of a tease for you guys

See I'm going to go another route..........I can't help it but as I look at your car all I see is that propane tank in the back ground..........and how nice it would look if you painted it to look like a watermelon......I've seen it done.....

Car looks great.

I had one of those in my backyard until a few weeks ago. I'm removing the gas mantle from the living room, so I no longer need it. I did, however, consider painting it O.F. before I had it removed, lol.

How's it coming along Therian?

I'm reminded of a Beatles song (except it's not a yellow submarine).

Will, I'm really starting to worry about you. J/K mang - you come up with some funny stuff!

as promised, more pictures

Looks great. I plan on painting my car here pretty soon, considering I work at a body shop. I want to do it black but I'm not looking forward to doing a color change and having to paint all the door jams. It's time consuming but I might as well do it the way I want it the first time.

that's incredible man!

i can't find any flaws at all

hey, do you get deals for your stangnet buddies???

Aaron I could get you the same exact deal...no tax...just pay paint and labour to spray (+ any other labour for work you don't feel you can handle)

That's assuming that they're not doing the majority of the prep. Nevertheless, I did all my prep myself and it's really not that bad. It could be done in a weekend if you've got 4 hands working

Looks awesome. I wish my car shined that much. Great job. Why didn't you paint the taillights?

good question. I really should have taped them off...but the left one has some pretty bad scuffing from when I got a little overzealous with the sanding block...I figure I'll eventually just buy some new ones and then paint them.

If anybody ever needs any help with prep work, let me know...it was a bit of a bitch trying to find the information I needed to do it right...especially when some people tell you one thing and others tell you the opposite.

Basically all I did was Dual action sanded with 320...went over the car multiple times to make sure all the shine was gone...and then I wetsanded with 600. wet sanding only took around 3 hours while the 320 took over 14.
