Anyone going to the 49th Tulsa Shelby Meet this week? (Anyone starting to plan for the 50th next year?)

Going to head over early Saturday to Tulsa Raceway Park (dragstrip), event starts tomorrow (actually I think tonight) with 2 days at Hallett Motorsports Park (I've never been there), then the drags Saturday followed by a car show Sunday.

I'm hoping to get a bunch of friends locally to go next year.

That's a good idea. Would be fun. I haven't road tripped the Stang in far too long.

Well, it wasn't like I remembered for 20+ years ago. They used to start at 8-9am, this year (last year was the first time change) it started at 2pm. Its hot at 2pm, it was real low turnout because they do a cruise in the morning, like 50 miles? The dragstrip is after the cruise, most of crusiers didn't show up at the strip.
