There is a push in Louisiana to build ethanol plants here and the legislature is mandating a certain percentage refined in the state compared with gasoline to push usage. In essence we will be forced to use the stuff here but as it stands now it is less efficient than gas and is more expensive. I'm not a big fan of being a guinea pig for the rest of the country while this stuff is rolled out. I already pay 500 a month in gas bills. I don't need more. If we were to get some sort of rebate, which is being discussed, then I'll give you a more glowing opinion when it takes off here.
