auto starter the same as manual starter ?

im doing the 5spd conversion and im just wondering if i can use my automatic starter or not.also i dont have the 5spd harness to go to the trans,anyone know if thats going to mess things up when going to start the car because theres nothing pluged into that plug coming out of the top of the trans.

Yea man the starters are the same. and i just left mine unpluged and it didnt seem to make a difference

nice,so are you able to start your car without pushing in the clutch basically?

if you unhook the neutral safety switch yes you can, just dont put it in gear and try it...

well in 82 they my Capri would start in gear.. no biggy its just a car not a rocket...
