as far as gt's and v6's i prefer the looks of a clean, dark '94-98 with 17's (i have an 'o2)

You know thats a pretty tough call... My first Mustang was a Black on Black 96 Mustang Cobra and I loved that car. At the time when I bought it (1999) the 99+ body style had just come out, and to me they had too sharp of angles. Now that I am on my third Mustang I prefer the 99-04 body style over the 94-98 because I think that body style is to rounded. Go figure... In time I have a suspicion that the 94-98 are going to be more sought after as they are more sleek/aerodynamic. I think the 05+ look terrible and I think this new body style is going to fall out of favor really quickly like the PT Cruiser...

i prefer the 94-98 body styles. even tho i think the horizontal taillights on the 94-95 looks retarded as all hell....

99-04 are just too boxy. the 94-98 just flows better.

There is alot more to it that than, but I guess. I sold the 04 that I bought new for 18K for 16K with 55,000 miles on it. I couldnt pass that up.

I had it a year and half and used it for work. In the midwest where there is snow a rwd car is not the best for a car that runs 30-40K miles a year. I bought my Mazda as the DD, then got the 98 as a weekend beater because it was cheap and actually faster than my 04.

^^^ Not comparable.... One bone stock, one nicely modded. Its all in what you do to the car.... That 96 is WAY hot. Mitys car is hot mod wise Lowering, front chin spoiler, grille delete, and good rims can make any 99+ Hot as hell. Same thing for teh 96-98... Both are hot as hell

No way, DSG is the best mustang color ever on a 94+ car.

For 94-98, I like the 94-95 GT's and Cobra's. The taillights do it for me. I like the 96-98 Cobra's, and the GT's that are tastefully modded. They look plain stock.

As far as 99-04, I like my 2000 Spring Feature. Its got the hood scoop and side scoops that a normal 2001+ would have, but it has the 99-00 wing, which I like better. Looks a little sleeker IMO.

Of course the Mach's and Terminators.

I dont really have a favorite overall, and I dont dislike any body styles past the Mustang-II era, lol.

I think the 99-04s look more like a muscle car and they remind me of the 69-70 mustangs. The 94-98s aren’t bad and I have seen some nicely moded ones. I just don't like how the tail lights are on the 94-98s.

Like someone said early on in this thread, there are nice looking ones and ugly ones in either style. At first I didn't like the 99+ cause I thought they looked generic. But I didn't really like the look of the 94-98s either in the beginning. Most people like the style of the car they own so they don't feel bad about owning it.

They all look nice if you put a little time into them. I hate seeing a sweet 94-98 with a killer engine and wheels but have those faded yellowed headlights. Or a primo 99+ with all sorts of stuff sitting three feet up from the ground or with 16" wheels. Put some time into your pony and it will be sweet. No matter what year it is. It's not a body style but instead an attitude.

Like the 94-98 body-style, except for the 94-95 tail lights. My next toy I buy will be a 96-98 Cobra. I do like the 03-04 Mach 1, but I don't like the 99-04 Cobra front bumber. But people all have different taste, hell I like the body style of the 74-78 Mustang II's..
