the intercooler is a better choice if you're still on a stock bottom end. extra insurance can never hurt!

I went with the FMIC and 3.12" pulley and gained 60hp...plus i kept near stock driveability and the cool whistle sound...
FMIC without a doubt. Hands down! Well worth it. You can throw some cams in it when you get a shortblock haha.
Ok FMIC it is. It's gonna be the CX Racing one. Is there another kit that anyone has purchased from CXRacing that wasn't the mustang only kit. want this kit and it looks like all i would possibly need is a straight pip or so. I did a drawing and liked how i cold lay out the piping. if anyone has any pics of doing a custom kit please tell me.

Do some searching on modularfords . I think some guys have some good threads there. I will probably end up going with that kit, and having my local exhaust shop which is really good at stuff do the pipework for me

that intercooler will work and fit. its similar to mine. mine is 4" thick. otherwise the same. piping kit is different, but i have extra tubing and boots.

you will need:
passenger side: one 90, then one 45 will get it through to the engine compartment. then a 45 and90 into the throttle body.
drivers side: i used a j bend then 90 up then j bend to the turbo. yours will be different on the drivers side. IMO.
