car breaking up past 3500/4000

I had what sounds like the same exact proble. first i took out those POS bosch platinum 4 plugs i had and replaced them with stock plugs and gapped tham at like.046 and the problem was solved!!! try it!!!

my car did the same thing I went through the whole process as you have, and it ended up being a bad module and stator.

another friend of mines car had a similar problem so we replaced his module and stator but it didn't work. his ended up being a blown head gasket.

all cylinders have 140 psi....

ill try out a distributor at work....thanks guys, if it doesnt work well.....ill be back!
