car running a little rough at take off

like title says.....just finished installing cam....by the way, sounds GREAT

on initial ride, the car felt a little rough down low but cleaned up up-top.....and now im getting a whine, from what seems like the dizzy (it seem from there, kind of dark; ill double check in the morning)...what do you guys think it is....car sounds great, though.....everything seems good but this.....what do you guys think is the cause of this?

ohh yeah, i got a chip burned for the cam

yeah, thats what i was thinking......i set the timing at 10*....ill double check it.....what else could it be?

the whine could be the dizzy gear not meshing right with the new cam.

did you use a steel dizzy drive gear?

no its a stocker

the funny thing is it only does it when it wants to......this morning i had to move it.....it didint do it....could it be the timing chain skipping a tooth maybe?

no if the timing skipped a tooth it would back fire and run bad
