Looking to start a Mustang and Ford club in the Forest City area. Since I presently belong to a club I noticed some of the benefits: (1) club members vote for each other at shows, (2) cruising together to shows is a blast. On the other side some clubs have a lot of rules and membership dues. The club I presently belong to has dues and we also have sponsors. What I would like to form is a club with no dues, each member would be responsible for there shirt, hat, or decal when decided upon by the members. Also only one rule, what we do (functions, events, shows) we do as a group. Believe me when a large group of cars cruise into a show together people notice. Maybe if enough people respond, we can meet and discuss a name. Thanks
Raleigh is about 3.5 hours from Forest City. Forest City is about 1.5 hours from Charlotte, 30 mins from Shelby.
We have a club not too far from Forest City, www.xtrememustangs.com with no dues. We had a cruise in at Ryan's in Forest City a few years ago meeting up with some the other Mustang clubs from Upstate SC. If you would like to be a part of it you are more than welcome. I could use all the help I can get. Right now we get together at Chilli's in Hickory the second Sunday of every month at 8PM. In the summer time we do it weekly but now that it is getting cold we decided to just make it monthly.
I am interested in your club of Xtremes and will visit the site now. Cant wait to get together with other Stangs locally. I have a few with me that will possibly join as well. My names Mike Martin.
Your car pics look sweet. I just got back from Farmington Dragway a little while a go. Had a litte grudge match between my GT and a friends 91 Coupe. Drag racing is adictive, lol.
Dang just caught this forum!! I live in Mars Hill, NC but have family that lives in Marion, NC which is like 15-25min from forest city. I would be interested to join, also I was a member of the xtreme mustangs club for a while but could attend any meets :< the have really nice people!!
