coolant temp with electic fan

Installed a electric fan but need to know what to set the thermostat for.
example,,, 180 fan on and 150 fan off, just a guess. What is yours set for.

I have mine go on around 185 for normal driving. I've never seen one that you can turn off at a different temp.

I have mine on a switch, not by temp. I just switch it on after I start the car, and turn it off about a minute after I shut her down. I have a 180 deg. thermostat, and it stays close to that temperature, a little higher in traffic, lower on the highway.

Thanks, my Holley Commander 950 fuel injection computer has the on and off temps that I can set for the fan.

My electric fan is on a thermostat switch for 180. But once it comes on it rarely goes off. Stays right around 180 unless I'm on the freeway.
