Coverting to Remote TFI?

  • Sponsors (?)

Many years back I recall a couple of guys doing it. I believe you need to be cognizant of keeping the same style TFI however (PS or CCD). The latter watches the signal's falling edge in an effort to increase coil life.

Good luck.

One of the problems is the construction of a weatherpoof connection from the distributor to the TFI module. The stock connection terminates the distributor PIP output in 3 slip connectors that are shielded by the stock TFI housing. That is the primary area of concern as far as making the connection waterproof.
