ElSuperPinto is for sale again. He's asking twice what he paid me for it. Good luck with that, I guess.

Depends on when you bought it?
I only paid around 1650 for my Boss 302 in 1979
Sure is worth a ton now
I have not done a whole lot to the car either (lately)
Lol they don't even take it off the trailer here, there reposted that week.. I've watched a $ 1500 sad shape coupe pass hands 4 times now, they all more then double the price, then when it doesn't sell they cave but its all ways to another flipper lol... Last one pulled the 2.3 engine and trans out, sold the hood and raised the price to 4500 lol. Rot in the towers, spray bomb primer and missing some expensive quarter glass.

How or where did the guy find a buyer?
Used car sales sure is a racket
At the dealer, they made more on used car sales than new
You find a guy that has to have it
And you've got him
You convince a dog to buy dog crap, you are there in the sales dept

This is pretty much why I try to avoid cars that are not titled to the owner for at least a year.... Every ones a flipper since ronna. So many curb stoning cars its not even funny, licensed dealers trying to pass off auction cars as private sellers. Its getting damn hard to find private owners selling anything decent any more for daily drivers, almost all the fun toy / project stuff is never titled to the sellers these days by me.

That's everything these days, buy it do nothing, double the price...
Thing is, he started at the same $6k I did. He was the ONLY person that showed up to look at it in six months of having it listed. He won't end up getting anywhere near that.

There are sooooo many of those types out there. :nonono:

Yup, I'm one of them. I have a '99 Ranger, '96 Sonoma, and '96 Avalon for sale right now. The only one I probably won't make a nice profit on is the Sonoma.

February of this year. A '75 Ghia coupe didn't double in value in four months.

I'm more referring to people that buy some sort of classic and try to sell if for twice (or more) than they picked it up for without doing so much as moving it from one location to another. Dailys and/or beaters are a different story in my opinion.
