Dash lights don't work

I just finished putting my dash back in and now it won't illuminate when you turn the headlights on. I tried messing with the dimmer switch wheel but got nothing.

I checked all the fuses, but is there a relay somewhere?

Mine did that and it was the dimmer switch, they are pretty bad about that. Only other suggestion would be to make sure all your grounds are good.

You could see if you have power at the dimmer switch connector, if you do then see if you have power coming out of it on the other side of the connector. If not then I would replace the dimmer switch.

I kept messing with my dimmer, running it back and forth, finally got it to come on just before the detent that turns the interior lights on.

Got it. I just kept rolling it back and forth until they came on. Just like stever89 said.
