I did a little work to my interior. How do u like it? I did a rough fit and I need to adjust the edges a little on the dash to make them straight and smoother. Im also making a cover for either side of the dash that follows the end of the two stitches on the top of the side things all the way to the doors. I also have a few leftover pieces if anyone wants theirs covered let me know or pm me.

The pieces by the radio aren't something I've seen covered before; Nice!

Looks nice! My boney knee tends to hit the drivers side of the console by the radio. Having it padded would be great. Seats look good too.

Has anyone covered the area above the glove box door with leather? I'd love to know how that would look especially in my car since I have the leather wrapped arm rests and console.

Isn't that where the Airbag is located?? ...probably not a good idea.

...That's some nice looking interior work 1FatPony!! :nice:

I believe the air bag is in the panel above the one I am talking about. This is a metal panel, same one that includes the glove box door. It is rigid and part of the dash. The air bag is above this panel. It is to the right of the panels next to the radio and shown covered with leather in the above photos.

thanks for the compliments. What you are talking about below the airbag is what I am actually going to cover. I am going to continue the stitch on the panels next to the radio across that section below the airbag to the doors. I am also going to cover the opposite side under the steering wheel. I will probably recover the panels next to the radio because I used a ****ty glue and the stitch isnt exactly right. Also I am going to pad the center arm rest and cover the door arm rests as well.
Im planning on getting a lot of things stitched this weekend. If anyone wants their center arm rest covered or anything else PM me.

Very nicely done! I really, REALLY like the center armrest cover. Makes me wish that I had bought leather on mine, just so that I could do a similar mod.

I wish that I could sew half as well as you can... The few times that I've attempted, it looks like I was a parkinson's patient sewing during an earthquake. I can't get a straight line to save my life. Again, very nice!

Please post photos when you get that panel done. I have very interested in that.
Where can you get the leather that matches the charcoal? I have the upgrade package with leather dash, arm rests and console lid. I would like to match that.
Again, please post photos. I am also curious as to how well glue will attach the leather.

I agree with the boney knee thing. It' a complaint of mine since new. Extra padding would be nice.

I have been thinking of doing the leather on the pieces next to the radio, as it'd match the premier trim package I have. Looks pretty decent.
