driveshaft ques?

i currently have a stock t-5 and im changing to a tremec 3550. i am wondering if i can use the same driveshaft or will it have to be shortened/lengthened? thanx

Same driveshaft, different bellhousing (SROD toploader bellhousing), modified or AOD crossmember.

I have a Tremec 3550 and it's great - no problems. Just take it easy for the first 500 miles and shift it easy during break in and it will last longer than anything else on the car. Mine shifts smooth and fast, it never complains about any abuse I have given it.

Stay away from the TKO and the 6 speed if you don't want to switch driveshafts.

if you get a tko, all you have to do is swap the yokes and your done. If you dont want to and have yet to buy an aluminum one, buy one for a 96 and bolt it right up

sorry guys, i am also wondering about my t-5 clutch. it is a king cobra. will it also work with the 3550? thanx
