Drove an 04 cobra tonight!!

My parents and I went to dinner tonight up by the mall. On the way home I asked if we could stop at the dealership and check out some cars. My dad and I saw a Silver 04cobra... it was bad. I tried to jumo in the drivers seat first but my dad was like move aside sonny lol... we did a loop around the area and got on the interstate, on the on ramp my dad got it completely sideways in second gear and burned out in 3rd, and got to 100 in no time! We pulled off the interstae and it was my turn. I came out of the parking lot and hardshifted to second and smoked the tires alittle, I was SOOOO Impressed with the power, that was the fastest car I've ever driven. They wanted 31k for it, w/ only 17k miles.

Several of my friends have bought low milage 03-04's for around 24-26K for a coupe.

I want one now, I might have to settle for a 96-98 cobra, don't they have like the strongest stock blocks? I remember some going for under 10k with s/c.

Yeah, the aluminum 96-98 Teksid block is pretty damn strong.

Its the pistons ive heard, I talked to a ford tech who had 3 96-98 cobras and said everyone of them dropped no# 8 cylinder, he said they were stock, but he also said he tuned arron archer's race car. I personally would like to have one, and with 305 hp you cant go wrong.
