I searched through the old posts and didnt quite find an answer. I (lately) have been hearing a slight clicking sound from my X-pipe. It seems most everyone says this is a leak and start talking about gaskets and possible new studs. The thing is when I installed my X-pipe there were no gaskets on the old pipe or stuck to the manifolds.... Is this a cause of a possible leak? Has anyone else not had gaskets? If I need gaskets where can I get em.

Thanks everyone!

Most likely an exhaust leak on the passenger side manifold. The old BBK Xpipes had this same issue.

I just dealt with the leak, it was minimal because we used air tools but I never used a gasket.

Why arent gaskets needed? When i took off my stock pipes there was a gasket on my old '99 GT and now on my 2000 GT. Go buy a gasket at Ford and stick in on the passenger side so it doesnt leak. There is room for one, meaning that it would make sense to put one there. That'll take care of it
