I ran my 96npi GT on the dyno today. The engine is stock with 184,000 miles on it, K&N filter and exhaust. It put down 192 hp and 258 tq. Not to bad for a high mileage npi engine. Now within 2 months I will have done a PI swap and then we will see what she'll put down. I am going to put stock PI heads, cams and intake on and all the bolt ons I can do. What do you guys think I will put down then?

What Dyno did you run on? That is damn good for a stock NPI.

It was a Dynojet in SC. It was a nice cool day today. What do they usually put out?

sounds right...with a pi swap and a tune you should make like 250.

Longtubes could bump that up to 260+

Not bad, sounds like your motor is still in good shape and not getting wheezy yet, lol.

    Those are solid numbers!

Were they SAE adjusted, or standard numbers?

My "stock" PI headswap (box stock '01 heads/cams, '02 intake, stock manifolds) put down 248rwhp/306 rwtq Standard on a cool day through cats and flowmaster weld-ins. I bet you'll do at least that well.

Good numbers for a npi with that mileage. Did you go to Pro-Dyno?
