Looks too lean to me as well

It only kisses 13.0 to 1.00 one time

I'd bet it makes best WOT power somewhere between 12.5 to 12.75

I don't think LT's would give you all that much more WOT power over
shortys if you stay with the same tube size

Having said that ... maybe you need to step up in tube size

I'd not be suprised if you gained much by going to the Fox air intake
    system setup

Honestly ... for NA ... I've yet to be convinced gains are there ;)

    About that spark :)

Of course ... I'd not know how he went about it ...but
If he added 10 and you had nothing pulling spark like act temps or the like ...

You'd think that would put you at 35 total spark

You might pick up some more power with more fuel and spark
    but
That is just something you would have to try

I've seen combos with Aluminum heads make max power with spark as
high as 38 to 40 total but each combo is different for sure

I can say I make max power at 36 with 93 grade gas :)

I'd think some 1 3/4" LT's would help you more than a different air intake
    system

I think Paul has a good idea about looking at your valvetrain for correct geom
and making sure your valves are not too tight or loose

Headers and tb are not the main issue here.

Last I seen the timing was backed down to 36...It was tried higher for 2 pulls and lost power..

We seen the AFR good from the get go...Dont think anyone thought to add fuel and see what happened.

I believe Ed setup the valvetrain ... he got the package from him...

Isn't that the same thing as valve lash? Also, I have seen the best of the best get it totally wrong once so considering Ed is in fact a human, he could get it wrong too. Re-check it.

I sent Ed an e-mail asking what he thought of it.

This is the Valvetrain kit I got from Ed. Its come down in price since I got it.

    PS3 Valve Spring Kit: $245
    FTI PS3 Dual Valve Springs
Super Clean – Pure Alloy Material
    1.460 Diameter Spring
    135# at 1.825”
    .635” Lift Capable
    Hardened Spring Locators
    Viton Valve Seals

Grady do you think it has anything to do w/ the heads at all? Its tuned on 91 octane, cant get 93 around here anymore. Its obvious something is holding it back but I want to try and figure out what the best route to take is b/c I dont want to spend money on changing anything then have it put down virtually the same numbers.

My concern about the valvetrain would not be with the parts

It would be about how well those parts work together and how they
    are adjusted

    Things like ........

rocker travel across the top of the v stem
    spring height
valves adjusted too tight or loose

Lash is usually not used when hyd setups are in place

anyway just a few of my thoughts

Its not the valves being to loose or to tight and it does not have to do w/ the cylinders not holding pressure so those can be ruled out.

Have you verified that your TB opens fully at WOT?

It was up the tail pipe, no idea on what brand the sensor was.

Another thing is that those are not SAE corrected numbers either. I went to the track last night w/ my new found tuned power but manged to lose 4 MPH and run 13.1 @106. I was rusty having not been to the track since last aug but the last time I did go it was not tuned had 27 less RWHP and 43 less RWTQ and I was trapping 110, last night I was trapping constant 106's

I think a leak down and compression test is in order. Something mechanically is wrong IMO.

Not good, it was a green track it had been raining all morn and afternoon. Only pulling 2.0's

Friend of mine that did the work on it at his shop last summer said everything checked out fine then b/c he had to pressurize the cylinder to do the spring change on the heads. I suppose its possible that something could have happened after that but the last time I took it to the track last summer it was trapping 110 and showed no signs of anything being wrong.

I checked the TB tonight, it is opening all the way.
