Jinx, IMHO this is what my thoughts are......good idea about the sponsorship...
bad location on ebay...
If I were you I would take in some pics of your car to the local parts stores and service centers and see if they want to advertise via window decals for a certain length of time........or which may be a reach but since you are a "proud" fireman ask if the local station would have a fundraiser or donation and place your stations # on the car with the donator's names.........

I would try the business owners first because they can claim it as a write off at the end of the year as advertising costs......best of luck either way bro..

i thought about saying I'm a firefighter but I'm not in it for the personal reward I guess you woudl call it. I'm in it to help people. Save lives and property. If i go blasting of I'm a firefighter give me money for my car it sounds like i'm saying i deserve something in return for what I do and thats not the case at all
