My car i have had about 2 weeks, it has offroad x and borlas (that came on the car) the borlas have a nice tone to them, but are kinda quiet. i was thinking about dropping the borlas, and going with some flowmasters. What would your guys input be, BTW im in florida no harsh car laws probably wont get pulled over for too loud or anything.
I would say go with magnaflow magnapacks. I'm not saying that just because I have them. I have had chambered mufflers on my car and liked them but the packs with an X pipe just sound awesome.
If you are looking for more noise, look at the Magnaflow 15673. It's the Magnapack like scupking said. They'll be louder but not obnoxious and you'll still be able to talk inside the car since there is almost no drone in the cabin.
I like my Magnapacks as well - especially with an X. You must not have the Borla Stingers...I doubt you'd be saying how quiet those are. Been there, done that, rattled my brain pretty damn good. Where are you in FL?
Hey man did you ever get a sound clip of your roush? And I vote magnapacks as well. Don't get flowmasters, you will regret it.
Thats right, Flowmasters do sound great at idle or around town but at cruising speed they will drone your brain to mush. When I had them I could not stand to cruise at 70 mph because of the brain numbing drone. You have to either go 80 mph or 60 mph....... I do love my Magnaflows.
I really like my flow's? 2 chambers? they came already on the car with o/r h pipes. always get compliments on how mean it sounds? i'm kinda fraid to change them out? dont want to get stuck with some mufflers sounding like some rice beater. that real high pitch coffee can sound? i hate stangs that sound like that not a muscle car at all? my advice check around some friends or buddies of yours an see what they have an how theres sound? good luck

the reason im saying flows is because i found a set for extremely cheap, so it would be an easy pickup in my area with no shipping fees either and i love the muscle car sound
i know it came with the car if it was my decision from the beginning i would have bought o/r h with mac catback because that has muscle car sound, but since it already has an o/r x id like to get the closest sounding mufflers i can to it.
I have a catted X with flowmasters and it sounds great! it sounded lame and droned badly with the factory 6 cat h pipe but its a million times better now! and it almost eliminated the drone! OR X with flowmasters would be even better!
im not to worried about drone, i do mostly city driving, and from what i understand the drone only happens when cruising at low rpm's if i get 4.10 gears the rpm's might be a little bit higher but if that doesnt help at all then ill just cruise at a point where it isnt annoying
yea i think i will go with the flows i found a set for 80 dollars, either way catback or weld in thats a good price for a set lol
