OK, so what would a reasonable price be? Given the cost of the shaker hood kits available, I'd think $399 or so would certainly be appealing . . . no?

How many of you would buy a set up like this?
I like the looks of the hood, but also not a fan of it being non-fuctional. I'm surprised more newer GT owners have'nt tried to make their scoops functional rather than change the hood or go with the shaker. I'm not sure on the clearance between the intake and the hood, but would it be possible to mount a ram air box on top of the intake? It seems like it would not be too difficult. Cut a hole under scoop, run ducting from hole to air filter box, and remove the plastic grille in the scoop or drill holes. If I had one I'd be tempted to try it.Badd GT said:last night a buddy showed me what he did with his.
he actually vented his to cool engine compartment.
he drilled every little hole completely thru.
then he cut holes in underside of the hood & cut a chunk out of his hoodliner.
pretty trick.

I loved the s281E hood look but it's not for sale. I went for the 03 cobra hood, it's actually a nice looking hood, cheap enough, and has functional reverse vents and agressive look!
