For those who have gone AOD, in here please... important ?

After searching the boards i havent found an answer to a particular question. For tthose of you who have done the AOD swap, how did you set/adjust the TV cable? It my understanding that for these things to work right you need to adjust the pressure or soemthing liek that and also set/adjust the tv cable or else the tranny will fry very quickly. I have nearly 2k insvested in my tranny, All alto red eagle clutches, A+ servos, new drum, carbon fiber bands, and a lentech street dominator valvebody to top it all off, id hate to have this thing ruined in a matter of minutes.

Any help is appreciated.

The standard AOD adjustment is as simple as removing all slack from the cable at closed throttle with no tension.

I used a pressure gauge and the special gauge tool that came with the Lokar cable.

You need an adapter plate to hook the cable up to the carb otherwise it won't go through the correct range of motion with the rest of the linkages to control the pressure correctly.

i have the proper linkages that i got through lokar and the like/ thanks for the link, it helped alot.
