i guess the only upside for me is my engine is all stock.i can get away with running 87 octane.for you guys with boost,i hurt for you.
yeah, that is about what it is around here too. with 10.27:1, i need high octane too i want to put together a low octane tune that has the spark retarded. no time to work on that yet though
i enjoy filling up at the gas station. i throw premium in. its alot of money, but i didn't buy this car for gas mileage. my last car was awesome on gas, 1990 probe 4 banger with a 5 speed.
Wow we are still about $3.59 a gallon for regular. I only run premium but also my car has only been cranked twice this year.
i work at night.to get to work,it would not be a good idea to ride a bike through those neighborhood's at night.
The car used to be my daily driver round trip 45 miles a day, 7 days a week, but now it's a weekend warrior strictly due to gas. It really eats me up too. When I make more money I'll eat the cost and drive it, but for right now it isn't worth it. I'd rather ride the bike or drive the car that gets double the mileage.
I have to run 93 in mine but I dont drive it that much or have not much this year since I have had it out. When I get it tunned next month I think I'll have them throw a consertive tune in there as well thats more prone for better gas mileage such as on the highway and that way just flip it over to the better power tune at the track.
