Which is one of the reasons I have "SELLING THE STANG" in my sig. Im having L5-S1 Disc removed with vertebrae fusion...Will be in the hospital 3 days, and out of work 6 weeks. Should be back home Sat, and checking Emails by Monday.

    Will check back here tonight.

The Surgeon said that I "should" be doing everything at 100% in 3 months. If that is the case and I feel well, I will probably keep the stang. Even dropping $10k in the car (which I will be able to afford OUTRIGHT next spring) is much cheaper than dropping $40k on a new car.

If all goes well, I will have to thank Roger for convincing me NOT to sell the stang. With his and Joe's help, I would look into the same CHP built motor that ROger got.

    Thanks!!!

Crap Rob. I wish you the absolute best of luck with the procedure and for a forthwith and 100% recovery!

BTW, take that crap out of your sig - you won't be selling the stang.
Amongst other money pits: Your investment in a swimming pool (and hot tub perhaps - I don't recall for sure) will pay off nicely in your recovery, I imagine.

    Good luck!

Urban...No cute nurses down here...besides, dont want any Pop-up tents!!

Others: Thanks...The initial day to 1 week will be rough...Got 3 days in the hospital ONLY to rest the fusion of the vertebrae... Also got 90 PERCOCET Ready to go (well, 89...I had to take one the other day, since I am not allowed to take Advil or Aleve before surgery)

    Well Rob,
Even though you and I haven't crossed paths very often in the two years + that I've been here... and we really haven't bonded much...

    Good luck dude.
Best wishes on the fastest of recoveries...
and make sure to stick around, with, or without the stang...

It wouldn't be the same without you.

Hope you make a 100% recovery man. Going under the knife is always scary, but with technology today, it only makes the procedure easier for the doctors. I'm glad you're keeping the stang.
