You are so right.....Unfortunately there are less than 200 left in the country I've heard......forturnately one is 3 miles from my house Waiting on X man 3 myself......but Kelsey Grammar as the "Beast"... But the previews show Juggarnaut.....
wow thats not alot. i know the one that i go to is soo packed on fri. and sat. by the time u get up there to buy a ticket u missed the 1st movie. thats y i go sun. so i know its makin money. hopefully it wont close, cuz i dont think i could go back into a theater.
drive-ins kick ass!!! there used to be one around where i live, but the stupid trucking company next door bought it out to expand their lot. fun times. oh yeah, i saw the davinci code--story was awesome, but the production sucked.
We have one kinda south of St. Louis and I think I saw that they are building another one (yes a new one) not too far away from St. Louis. The last one I went to was 2 or so years ago in Phen. AZ visiting my little sister we saw the final fantasy sequal and "the others". Good times I hope to cruise to a drive in this summer or even better check out a new one this summer alot closer.
My wife and I always go to the drive-ins, we rarely go to the normal theaters. We take our dog sometimes too. I saw the Da Vinci code on friday, it was OK but I wish i'd have just waited to see in on DVD. It wasn't the blockbuster smash I hoped it'd be.
