ok i am going to need a re build or a new engine, now i just want to know does a 2001 svt block fit in a 2002 gt without any major upgrades or problems?.. please help me.
ok there shouldnt be any problems with the swapping too the svt block?and also will the gt tranny hold up?.. will i need any other major upgrades?.. does anybody know where i can get a cheap use svt block?
ok so would a gt swap for a svt block would be a lot of a hassel to do? would i have to upgrade a lot of stuff? would the tranny even hold up?.. please help me out, tia.

The tranny in an 01 Cobra & 01 Gt are exactly the same. They both have the same TR3650 & some of the earlier 01 models had the T45. the tranny should be fine. Im not sure exactly what the swap takes, but i believe the block is a swap? IMO, if your going to swap in another block, u might as well get forged internals...
Also a 96-98 Cobra, 99 cobra, & 03-04 mach 1 blocks are all aluminum & should all bolt up. The 96-98 Cobra Teksid block are arguably the strongest, but all of the mentioned blocks should handle 700+ hp...just not with the stock internals....
