ME. Oh yeah that was fun. Luckily the 66 Stangs don't weigh a whole lot. Here's the story. We've had some problems with our clutch in the past where it seems to get stuck and we can't shift. Well today all hell broke loose when I went to first and then the clutch pedal lost pressure (hydraulic clutch) causing me to be stuck in gear. Fortunately I was able to drive to a parking lot and then build enough pressure for me to get out of gear. Every time I pressed the clutch the pressure got less and less until there was no resistance all the way to the floor. There was a shop across the street so my dad and I pushed the Stang there were it's staying the night and will be worked on tomorrow. It sucks because the car runs fine except for the clutch pedal. Oh well, **** happens. Was kind of funny see the looks of people while pushing the Stang across and down the street. On another note, I think the idle fixed itself.

Sounds like you have a leak in the system. Check the slave and master cylinder and the lines for leaks.

That's what I thought, but the fluid level is fine in the cylinder.

That doesn't mean you don't have a slow leak, or air in the system.

Sounds like the master. The master can bleed pressure and not leak fluid. The slave can only bleed pressure by leaking fluid.

Sounds right.

You should also look at the rubber hose(s) and ensure they do not "ballon" when the clutch pedal is depressed.
