harmonic balancer

hi all, havent been hear in a long time, used to be 160cya, two stangs later im back w/ an opal frost vert, w/ a bad balancer.need a good place and price to get a new one.any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just bought this one myself and went to install it this weekend. Looks like a pretty good piece and I had a couple of guys chime in and say they have this one and it works well. Only thing is the store I bought it from didnt supply the spacer so now I'm waiting for it to come in . 50resto provides the spacer though I believe.

It was the only one besides a stock replacement I could find for under $100. All the other ones I found were top quality for like $300 each. Those just werent an option for me. good luck!

is that the 50oz imbalance? If so, its the same one I use, I bought it here in dallas at www.strokermotor.com for 145 i think they jacked the price up to 165 because so many people were buying them

on foxes, one can get a Pioneer non SFI unit for ~100 bucks. nice unit. some local parts stores have them.

if the link was to a PP balancer, people like those too.

Yes they last longer and are built to take the abuse we give them. I have the Professional Product's street dampner I got mine from www.c-f-m.com because at the time 50resto did not have them in stock it was $108 shipped that includes the spacer that you need. Call 50resto to make sure they have them in stock if not CFM should have them ready to ship.

Yes, I think they are the same.

I did not mind the slightly higher price cause I wanted one with sfi specs.

Mine as well is SFI spec. powerbond race balancer in a pioneer sfi box. cant get a better deal than that. found out about them a while back on corral when i was searching and at the time that was a hell of a deal...i think i paid 160 out the door

after going thru 2 balancer i decide to go with a romac balancer. it's SFI Approved.
