Heater tube assembly??

Is there a need for this? Can I run hoses instead from the manifold and water pump to the heater core??

I am running a cobra intake.

cool thanks! just need to find a fitting now for the intake where the heater tube screwed in.

1/2" npt is the hole size in the lower intake.

If you decide to remove the heater hard lines altogether and bypass the heater core, you can do as i did and install this neat little kit:

That looks nice, but i don't want to bypass the heater core. so, i guess i will run them straight to it.
