HELP - FMS Roller Rockers - Heads Question

Hello,

I recently purchased a set of FMS 1.6 bolt-on pedestal mount Roller Rockers for my stock E7 heads. I read through the ford rocker instructions and the illustrations show a cast recessed channel area on the head for the rocker pedestals to fit into and I am assuming this is to keep the rockers from rotating. My E7s do not have this cast recessed area insted they had four channels (per head) that bolted on under the stock rockers, one channel per two rockers, I believed these would achieve the same results if I bolt these under the new FMS roller rockers. I am confused and can't seem to find anything on this ANYWHERE and I am hoping someone here can help. I don't want to screw this up, can anyone clarify?

Thanks,

Those rockers will work if you have the stock Ford heads on your car. You are correct, the rocker channels serve that function. The Ford replacement stuff will bolt right on in place of the stock stuff, using the stamped steel channels that came on the stock heads.
