IIRC, the '07's don't come off, just the '05 and '06s.

The knobs you bought are for 2005 and 2006. The only company that makes replacements for 2007+ is SilverHorse Racing. To get the knobs off, you pull straight off with pliers. That breaks the small clips off. But the knobs that you have won't fit. Return them. You need covers or SHR's replacement knobs (which would be my choice.. they're fantastic).

This is true. But I know plenty of people that have the 07+ knobs, and don't know one person yet who choice method 2. Method 1 is quick and easy. The only reason to go with method 2 is if you planned on every putting the stockers back in. Don't know why you would want to do that.

What about the ones that adhere over the stockers?? They didnt look too bad from what I saw on a digital photo..But I want the LED light to shine on each one at night, which I dont think you can get with the slip on ones...

Most of the ones I've seen are almost as expensive as SHR's, and I've seen at least one set actually more expensive. Get the real thing. You'll be a lot more happy.

I just recieved more SHR stuff in the mail today and in their catalog/brochure, it says their knobs are the only ones that retain the LED function.

Canon Rebel XT. That picture was taken using a triple exposure HDR process. It seems to get quite the response :)
