I haven't really started a thread like this before but I wanted to see how our friends who just got hurricaned are doing. For instance, I've not been able to get ahold of Wes and am a bit worried for him and his family.

To any of those folks, if there is anything I can do to try to be of assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

    Best wishes to all!

    Edit II: thanks Matt

I heard from Wes. For the most part he and his family thankfully came away without any big issues.

We have huricanes:shrug: I think we need the rain in most areas and not others. Everytime there is a huricane hitting florida then I end up fishing on the coast.:D I just can't paint much due too the humidity.:nonono:

Hopefully Ike doesn't do much damage. It looks like it may go Wes's way again.

It must have been rough down there in Louisiana! We had about 20,000 power outages, lots of rain, and some 40-45 MPH wind gust and I am in central Arkansas; WAY above Louisiana.

    I hope everyone is alright.

I'm glad to hear that some folks have done ok (I guess we won't hear from the ones who didn't do ok for awhile).

Wade, glad you came out ok. :nice: I ordered a part from a place in Texas on Thurs before Ike hit and they said they'd try to get it out before the storm hit. It sounded like it was going to be bad (and was in some parts).

I don't want anything to do with hurricanes..... Best wishes and prayers to those affected. The remains of Ike hit us Sunday. Gust to 70-80mph. 720,000 without power, now 5 days later still 125,000 without power.
I was lucky only minor damage to my truck and some shingles on the house gone. The stang was safe in the garage.:D
I only lost power for about 6hrs, my son is still waiting.
