How much to ask for a 289

Well I am starting my 5.0 swap and I would like to sell my 289 but I really don't know how much to ask for it. It's a 65 c code, it ran fine, it's all stock that I know of. I don't want to ask to much but I don't want to not ask enough either. So what do yall think how much should I sell this thing for.

Look around. I think 289s may be in high demand. especially if it has stock heads.

I looked around. Rebuilt ones are going for $1100 or so. You best bet may be holding on for someone who is restoring a 65 w/ a missing engine or a 6 to 8 upgrade.
