How much would you pay

I'd pay $1K tops and that's if it's in good condition.

20+ year old chassis with no drivetrain (and usually missing other stuff). By the time you are done putting the car together even with a stock drivetrain, you might as well have bought a $3000-4000 Mustang to start with.

I've given away 2 rollers in my past. Just not worth much to me.

Totally agree, most of the rollers I see on craigslist are a nightmare but people are still asking 3-4k sometimes. I was speaking to an actual solid roller that basically just needed a drivetrain.

Yeah if it was complete and straight and just needed engine/trans it's worth a lot more to me too. The prices people ask are rediculous - stock/bolt on Foxes around here RUNNING and complete go for $2500-$3500 unless they are mint or really something special.

Ok guys thank you for your opinions. I had already bought me a roller for 1500 that I thought was in condition which meant No rust. After the reviews I'm happy for what I paid for cant wait to switch everything over. Thanks again
