Whats the best and cheapest way to hook up an ipod to your HU? I just installed a kenwood HU in my car. But I hear the one kenwood makes is not very good.

When I first hooked up my IPOD I just bought the Monster Cable that goes from the headphone jack into RCA's and just directly plugged in the IPOD to the Aux port in the back of the deck. You just have to control the IPOD from the IPOD itself not from the deck. Worked well for me. Hopefully that helps. Oh by the way the cable was about 15 bucks.

If you dont have an input your going to have to go with the FM modulator from apple.

You can use any FM modulator, they all have a RCA type input.,some are wireless too,but you lose a little sound quality.
