    I drive a 2001 Mustang GT Black.

I love the color but black is like a part time job keeping it clean. All the imperfections or scratches are magnified on black cars.

So I decided to fix the swirl and scratch to hopefully end up with a mirror finish.

First, lets see what the damage is

First attempt at paint correction, passenger side rear quarter

Driver side, rear quarter. Yep, lots of swirls when you shine a powerful light at it:(

Couple passes with the Porter Cable. You can see my reflection now:D

After going at it for 2 days, finally I can wash it to remove all the polish and wax residue. A little foam will do:p

Great job! Yeah black is the worst, but sonic blue sucks too. If I dont polish and wax my car every month I get lots of water spots, wash marks. I dont have a garage to keep it in, maybe one day.

No not an option, but it was usually put on V6's.

Every once in a while a set gets stuck on a GT though
