I drive a 2001 Mustang GT Black. I love the color but black is like a part time job keeping it clean. All the imperfections or scratches are magnified on black cars. So I decided to fix the swirl and scratch to hopefully end up with a mirror finish. First, lets see what the damage is First attempt at paint correction, passenger side rear quarter After Side-by-side comparison Driver side, rear quarter. Yep, lots of swirls when you shine a powerful light at it Couple passes with the Porter Cable. You can see my reflection now Driver side quarter window panel After After going at it for 2 days, finally I can wash it to remove all the polish and wax residue. A little foam will do Couple pics of final results taken 1 hour ago
Great job! Yeah black is the worst, but sonic blue sucks too. If I dont polish and wax my car every month I get lots of water spots, wash marks. I dont have a garage to keep it in, maybe one day.
that foam, isnt soap, its me splurging all over your car lol. black looks best when well taken care of. Yours is a perfect example.
Those "Foam" pics look like a elephant ej@culated all over your car. I really do need to get me a PC though, your car before/after really is a WOW!. Great Job man! Did you go out and do a victory burnout?
No not an option, but it was usually put on V6's. Every once in a while a set gets stuck on a GT though
