My father and I are selling my mother's 1966 Mustang fastback, 2+2 with pony interior. Car is a 6 cyl, auto and it in rough shape. The car was hit in the rear many many years ago and the chassis is slightly bent. my mother drove this daily when she was in college. The car needs restoration, but would make a nice car. I have someone locally who wants to look at it, but i was curious what you thought it was worth. Remember the car needs restoration and there may be some rust through on the rockers and fenders. The floor pans are decent I believe. The interior needs to be re-upolstered. The car does run good mechanically.
    Thanks
    Dan

Sorry, it's tough without pictures. When you describe an I6 car with a twisted chassis, rust throughout the rockers and fenders and upholstery that's shot my first thought would be its worth nine cents per pound. Post pics to prove me wrong.

I agree, a stang that is twisted, rusted, in need of total restoration is hard to price. Could you pull the VIN # and post some pictures so that we can give you a better estimate?

A rough estimate. I mean $500, $1000? I am not asking for an exact number and i haven't taken pics yet, but just an idea.
