New clutch – jerky during feathered take off - ?

They said I had hot spots on the flywheel and that the Ram clutch was only making good contact at the inner and outer edges of the friction material.

That being said, I really believe the reason the chatter has improved is because the new stock clutch they put in is much less grabby. I could chirp the tires in 3 gears without really trying before but now it only can be done in first... less grab so the chatter is reduced. If I feather the clutch just right, it still chatters but the car does not jump around and chirp, chirp, chirp the tires. I assume the root cause of my problem is NOT the flywheel or the RAM clutch. I have no idea what it is though. I guess if the transmission comes out again I will change the bellhousing (if it is not true the clutch will not engage correctly) and the fork.

The mounts did not change my chatter much but since my left one was broken and there was evidence of the headers hitting the frame (usually 1" clearance), it was money well spent.

Sorry, no definitive answers here...:bang:
