Just bought a new Steeda Triax shifter for my '05 GT. Looks to be a pretty basic install but does involve dropping the drive line. No info in the instructions about the torque setting when I reconnect the driveline to the tranny. Any know what that setting is or a link on the old WWW where I can find it?

i dont know about the steeda shifter, but with a hurst shifter you dont have to remove the driveshaft. i was able to get it installed without removing anything, but it does make it easier to reconnect the dust seal at the base of the shifter if you remove the console.

I can't see any way to get the Steeda around the driveline. Just not enough room. The instructions from Steeda are pretty specific other than torque settings. I crawled around underneath and their way looks to be the best.
