That's not bad, but my best 60' is .009, so you've got some practicing to do!

:rlaugh:  :rlaugh: It's all good. If you got a .011 60 foot you had better be in something with the platform of say a F-117.

Speaking of 60 foot times, I'm going to be anxious to see what I can pull with the control arms installed. 2 more weeks :)

Well we both know that all the power and torque in the world won't do crap for ya' if you can't lay it on the ground. what you have listed in your sig should do well with controlling launch and shift dynamics. Now if you can hook it and stay focused you should be right there with Mr. ScottM. :)

What are you doing for weight reduction? And remember it is also about weight distribution, so don't start pulling rear seats and spare tires, etc. Look to balance and distribute.

    1. Either a lighter battery or battery relocation
    2. Sway Bar removal (already done!)
    3. Lighter wheels in the front (currently run the 18" polished wheels)

I was also considering taking out the passenger seat.

Good plan. Depends on how into this you want to get. The passenger side removal can be a little drastic. Perhaps removing the 7,000 miles of electronics would work. hahahha just kidding....

Stock WD is something like 53/47 if I recall. So, stock weight 3483(ish) - 1845 front/1637 back. RWD and dragging we would like a little more to the rear - so shave off about 150+ pounds from the front and 1/2 fuel level the tank......and I'm sure you will be fine...... lol

Nice plans you have there anti...good to see someone think on these subjects before just doing. I'm a thinker. :)

Have a good one...I need some rest.

    Jenn/out.

You kidding me? I think about my mods all day long! ;)

Originally it was Kenne Bell but then I got to experience a Turbo'd S197 and quickly changed my mind. I've got most of it planned out. The question now is, does my Tax Return go towards appearance mods or towards the Turbo?

It will when everybody hears the turbo at WOT shifts:D I know a guy in town that got a turbonetics turbo over s/c for the simple fact that it is more stealthy sounding. He has it tuned down to a modest 410 RWHP.

Amen. My friend greg has a turbo'd Sonic Blue 05 without the spoiler. It's a total sleeper. It's crazy how quite the thing is even so he has no cats and the same mufflers as me! His blow off valve isn't atmospheric so that's even more of a sleeper. From what I've gathered Turbo is definitely the way to go IMO.

oh!!! good news!!!! My JLT intake arrives today and I also just made a good deal on some Steeda Sport Springs in exchange for my web design services! :)

You just saved a bunch of money on your car...mods:rlaugh:
Will be interested to see if the new intake/tune helps any. Also to see the car dropped a bit. I'm going to wait until after my first drag day next year to see if I drop mine or not. The way my car sits now, I may just drop the front to give it even more of the retro muscle rake.

:D Springs go in next week. Dropping the car off @ DiabloSport Thursday until Friday for some extensive dyno tuning. The car should definitely be set for 12's next week.

Ran back to back 13.0X's @ 104.9X tonight on 1.7' 60' times with the C&L Intake and current tune and then switched to the JLT intake with realizing that my Predator doesn't have the JLT tune on it.

It's funny to see how much the custom tune makes a difference. W/ the JLT intake & the "93 Octane" tune I ran 13.4 and 13.2 @ 102 :( Definite power LOSS.

    Hell yeah anti:nice: Nice times!
I will be taking mine in next year for a custom dyno tune and see what all can be tweaked and improved. The shop I have dealt so far, the guy is a very good SCT tune man from waht people say in the Mustang Club:nice:

Nice times I SUPPOSE...I've been stuck @ 13.0 for two weeks now and it's agitating the crap out of me.

The weather here is just absolutely terrible.
