I guess I'll start this off... I have already gotten a bottle of Maguire's spray cleaner from someone at work, and a soft washing mitt. We had gift exchanges on friday. This co worker is reasonably hot, :) but married. :nono: I'm not really expecting a whole lot from the family this year, it's been a pretty tight year. Did anyone else score anything really cool?

I got my brother some of the 9mm hollowpoint door lockpins for his gt and my sister got him one of those Mr. clean auto dry car wash things. He got me a california car duster thing but thats the only car related stuff in my family. I tried to get my grandpa to put the bullitt keys in a box and give em to me but he said no.

I have a story about what I think was probably the absolute WORST present I ever got in my life.. it happened this Christmas. My Dad has been re-married for about 6 years now after divorcing my Mother. I went to his house and his wife brings in their present to me from the garage.. a plastic tub full of crap-tacular canned food that no one EVER eats (sweet yams, watered chestnuts, etc.) and a can opener. That's it. That's the gift. I thought for sure it was a joke gift, and I was waiting for Dad to give me the real one, but he just kept reading his paper. You gotta be SH***ING me!! THAT'S IT?!? :jaw: I mean, I'm not greedy, but come on! I got him a DVD set with 10 disks on the history of air combat, and he gives me a tub of canned food?? Well, that's ok, that's fine, you wanna play that way... his next birthday present is coming out of a gumball machine, I tell you that! :nice:

I got that beat, I came home from christmas one year from college and my younger brother and my two sisters had a gang load of presents and there was nothing under the tree for me. So I look in my stocking and lo and behold...a 10 pack of wrigley's spearmint gum. I ripped the dam stocking open thinking it had to be a joke and there was money at the bottom. Nope, just gum. Every year I tell the story during christmas.

This year I got a 24 piece knife set for the kitchen. I'm guessing my parents want me to try out for Hell's Kitchen. No one in my family understands my love for Mustangs. I would have been more happy with a Modified Mustangs Magazine. :nonono:

Just for that, I'm gonna buy myself a set of new wheels.

No more winter for the Stang!!! :)

2nd best Christmas ever! (First being getting me Stang 3 years ago :nice: )

    A new Remington electric razor
A Wal-Mart Whistler radar detector (works pretty good)

    And... Dum Dum Dum

    A 1998 Exploder Sport 4x4 :D

    4.0L V6 @ 160HP
    Pacific Green Met. outside
Ugly matching green inside ( That's getting changed come Spring)
    4 speed Auto

After suffering with the Stang for 3 winters now I decided to look into a small truck for winter driving. But the idea of a pick-up got knocked down becasue.........Quote " I don't have enough experince driving" end quote. even after finding a beautiful dark blue 2000 Ranger SuperCab 4dr. 4x4. So instead i got the Exploder.

Seemed like a good deal at the time, but it soom became apparent why it was semi cheap:

    1. Busted driver's seat (rocked) also torn.
Fixed by putting a bolt through the broken pin. Mom sewed it up.

    2. Passenger fog light filled with water, rusted then blew out before purchase
Fixed by removing both and taping the plugs till I get new ones

    3. Exhaust rotted out at the flange between the muffler and cat 3 days after buyin the truck. Sounded Uber Sexy for about half hour then it just got annoying.
Fixed for $25 at Pepboys. Various pipe pieces, U-clamps, and exhaus tape. Got a Dynomax Muffler collecting rust in the garage. I'll throw that on in the spring and route it out the side. :nice:

    4. Engine Light came on
Fixed by taking it to my "Uncle's" shop to have the code read. DPFE sensor found to be at fault (Just like the stang). Seems one of the hoses snapped off then melted to the block. $110 + tax  replacement from Ford

    5. Driver's front anti-swaybar support rod broken
Fixed by replacing both sides from Ford. $45 + tax.

    6. Radio. Lights burned out on several buttons, screen worked 1/4 of the time.
Fixed by triming the lip on the dash and sliding my stock radio from the stang in. Oh and $6 at Pepboys for the radio removal tool.

    7. Front transfer case seal leaking.
    Haven't fixed it yet.

    8. Hood shocks shot.
Fixed in the cheapest way possible. Cut a broom habdle in half and sprayed it black.

    9. Thank you Pennsylvania. Can't mount liscense plate to front bumper.
Fixed by buying plate holder form Ford for $25.

(Also thank you for the foot of dirt all over the engine. Try paving the roads will ya?)

Then to add insult to injury the **^&*%$&&$$$&$&@*@*!(#@(*#$*(!*$#&%@!*!($#*$&*#@*$*&#@&* that sold me the car charged me $150 for title, registration, and plates. All I got was the $20 title. The SOB pocketed the rest  . "I don't do that"- refering to the registration and plates. Another $65 out on me, and fighting with NJDMV. :bang:

I guess i'm done for now. I may get pics up.
